Privacy Policy

DeveloTools doesn't collect personal data, doesn't use cookies, and doesn't run analytics or advertising scripts of any kind. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type, paste or upload into a tool is ever sent to a server, because there is no server call to send it through.
What we don't collect
- No accounts, no sign-up, no personal information.
- No analytics, no ad networks, no third-party tracking scripts.
- No cookies.
- Nothing you enter into any tool — it's processed locally and never leaves your device.
The one thing stored locally
DeveloTools remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode, saved in your browser's localStorage under the key dm-theme. That preference stays on your device — it's never transmitted anywhere, and clearing your browser's site data removes it. No other tool on the site stores anything locally.
Standard web server logs
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages necessarily sees basic connection information — your IP address, browser user agent, and the page requested — as part of normal web delivery. That's true of every website on the internet and outside DeveloTools's control; what we can promise is that no analytics or tracking layer is added on top of it, and nothing from that baseline is used to build a profile, sold, or shared.
If you email us
Writing to [email protected] — for a bug report, a feature request or anything else — means we see whatever you choose to write in that email. It's read to answer you, not stored for any other purpose or shared with anyone else.
Changes to this policy
If what DeveloTools collects or how it works ever changes, this page will be updated and the date above will reflect it. Given the project's whole premise is running 100% client-side, we don't expect that to change.
